1. Introduction
   Blue Shuttle aims to speed up the use of digital technology in the blue bioeconomy sector in the Atlantic Area. Partners plan to do this by creating a Blue Innovation Network that involves a Quadruple Helix approach. This means including different types of people and organisations in the process.
    
   The focus is to develop a wide-ranging strategy for innovation, making it easier for the Blue Bioeconomy sector to use digital solutions. This will help make their processes more efficient and sustainable, as well as encourage creative and practical solutions to improve competitiveness and resilience.
    
   Area of particular interest include Marine living resources[1]and Blue biotechnology[2]

   [1] Marine Living Resources: The Marine living resources sector encompasses the harvesting of renewable biological resources (primary sector), their conversion into food, feed, bio‐based products and bioenergy (processing) and their distribution along the supply chain.
    
   [2] Blue Biotechnology: The application of science and technology to living aquatic organisms for the production of knowledge, goods and services (OECD, 2016).
   
   
2. Blue Shuttle Digitalisation Needs Assessment
   This survey is designed to collect your valuable insights on the needs for digitalisation, and to understand the perceived challenges you and your organisation faces. The survey may take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Before participating, please review the information and the consent form presented below.
   
   Please note that anonymised data of the survey will be stored in a secure server operated by Blacknight (server) in Ireland. The data storage will be strictly following the EU legislation on data protection policy (EU Regulation 2016/67919). The data that is collected through this survey will be used for potential future research and publications, projects and presentations. Anonymised and/or aggregated data may possibly be shared with future research partners for the purposes of analysis and study. Aggregated summary of results may be used for further and future report, publication, presentation, and education purposes.
